Crazy Weekend

So mom came down for Thanksgiving! It was great seeing her. I was sad when she left today. We had a very very busy weekend though. Thanksgiving day I was at my dads until I went to pick up mom at the airport. Then of course off to see the beautiful Ava. Then I took mom to Mrs. Dots because she was spending the night since they were getting up super early for shopping on Black Friday. Then I drove home all the way to Hodges at 12:30. LONG DAY. Then the next two days we shopped shopped and shopped! I am so worn out today. I usually get to sleep in at least one day...but that didnt happen. This week is going to be fun. It's the last week of classes before finals start and also my 22nd birthday. I cannot believe it's already here. Where did 21 go? Also, our work Christmas party is Friday at the Wine Cellar and Saturday Darrell is taking me to dinner for my birthday. Yes...great weekend of food! :) Also, this weekend coming up I am going to set up my Christmas decorations. Ugh...busy busy busy!!! I'm very excited. Mom comes back to Jacksonville in two weeks when I get my wisdom teeth out on the 12th (not excited about that!). But I am ready for a day of relaxation. O-town....Here I Come!

First off....what a miserable day. Work went well, except the crazy man on the phone getting mad at us because we would not give him a refund. But I have been sneezing, sniffling, blowing my nose, EVERYTHING today! UGH...the allergies are back. Driving me crazy. I'm tired of having to buy medicine for it that is $15. That is ridiculous. So I did have some sinus medication (the drowsy kind) that I took when I got home. So I'm writing while I'm sleepy and have a headache.

But on to more happy things...

This weekend is going to be a fun filled one. Darrell and I are going down to Orlando to visit Tina. I havent seen her since...gosh July maybe (too long). Her birthday was last week and mine is in a couple weeks so we decided to celebrate both of our birthdays. So I am very excited to see her. We really dont have any plans but I do get to spend some time with her. I miss having her as a roommate. She is doing great down in Orlando though. I am so happy she loves her job. That was very important to her. But I wish she still lived here. We still cant decide if we are leaving Friday night or early Saturday morning because Tina has a work thing Friday night. So still undecided. But either way this is going to be a fabulous weekend! :)

My Best Friend

My mom moved almost 6 months ago to Atlanta. It's tough not seeing her as often as I used to. I went from seeing here every weekend to maybe once a month. You don't realize how much you miss someone until they are gone. I am excited for Thanksgiving because she is coming down. I usually don't go shopping the day after Thanksgiving because it's SOOOO early! But I am this year since I dont get to see mom much. She is coming down when I get my wisdom teeth out which will be nice. You always need your mommy when you are not feeling well. I am ready for her and Jim to come back to Jacksonville. I miss the both of them very much. I know eventually they will be back here but it's not soon enough. However I am glad Jim did get this job in Atlanta because it did allow my mom to quit her job, which was WAY too stressful, and is now able to relax for a while and do something for herself. However, it is possible they could be moving to Alabama for another job. Which would be awesome for Jim. But I hope it takes them home soon!

They're taking my wisdom away....

So, for the past 4 days my tooth has been aching. So today I decided to go to the dentist to get to the bottom of it. My worst nightmare happened. Dr. Yorko said that I do have an infection so he prescribed me some antibiotics and pain meds, THEN, told me that I have to get my wisdom teeth taken out. YAY! So in about 2 weeks I am going to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Yes right before Thanksgiving. I thought to myself...OH NO, what if i cant eat at thanksgiving. I know, leave it to me to think about food right? I am kind of nervous about the whole thing. I'm not excited about this at all. So for now I'm doing alright with the pain medication and pennicillin. Just ready to get it all over with.
