Jim Update

I have had a couple of people..well quite a few...ask me about how Jim is doing. He is doing really well. His first chemo treatment was a little over 2 weeks ago. It has made him tired...but he does need the sleep. He did have the hiccups for about 3 days after the treatment and he joints in his knees started to ache for a couple days. Which is pretty awesome to only have those symptoms. The doctors said that if he was going to lose his hair it would be at 2 weeks. And....he has not! YAY! I know he is excited. He has always said he wanted to shave his head...but when I said something to him about it he said that he was actually just kidding. Whatever. Mom came down for a visit this past weekend and for some appointments. Jim was home alone for the first time in like 6 months for about 4 days. I think mom was worried about him but he needed it I think especially so he would get up and do more things for himself and he did. He was out and about a couple days. His friend Dave came for a visit also. His back is feeling much better than before. With the chemo medicine they have added another drug to help strengthen the bone. Jim's next chemo treatment is next Monday, May 11th. Keep him and my mom in your prayers.
