Another 1st Day

Today was another beginning. For school that is. This is going to be one busy semester. My 2 big classes this semester are Organic I and Bio. I have to Sociology classes but they should not be too bad.
For as long as I can remember, my mom would take pictures of me on my first day of school. It was a ritual. When I got older, we would forget sometimes and I would have to take one after school. haha. There is this one 1st day that I really remember, I had the god awful green and purple striped shirt thing that only had one button and was open and a shirt underneath. Then I had these green skorts...even more hideous! And my new Adidas tennis shoes that had purple on them and they were a little shiny with my newly and VERY short haircut. I believe it was to my ears. It is just funny how you can remember some more than the other. Of course most of the time it is the ugly ones. Now that I live on my own I still take first take pictures to send to my mom, even when I was in St. Augustine. So here is a picture for my mom to see me on my first day. Not a great picture since I took it myself. I look a little frumpy but OH WELL!
